Karma or God's Will ?

Whenever there is some disaster such as an earthquake or plane crash; somewhere the question arises; is it God’s will or People’s karma; either or both. On some level one has to say; what could be outside of God’s will; or, what happens outside of cause & effect? Beyond this however I have something to say. First in regard to my own context; I can not look at God as person, being willful or otherwise. If you want to talk persona I’m thinking idol, or celestial being, on the other hand I can accept embodiments of power, as perhaps aspects or reflections of the god ideal, which itself can only be ineffable. But getting away from mythical allegory, I look at it this way.

Today we have such great pictures of the visible universe; it evokes these further metaphors for me. When I see vast swarms of galaxies zooming though space they are like fireflies in boundless space, or thinking of their qualities, they are awesome energetic bodies. If one wishes to touch reality on subtle levels, it is essential to fully embrace the universal hermetic ideal, stated like this; “As Above, So Below”. So we can say this, and mean it; the galaxies are like fireflies, in the vastness of space. They are energetic fields, like all living beings. The Ageless esoteric traditions see emanation in this way; from pure presence emits energy, call it vibration or word. Condensed it becomes matter. Matter is somewhat like the ash of a fire. Mixed with water warmed by distant fusion somehow life emerges. How is that? I don’t have a clue. Some god presence is like a light in the temple of space itself; Conscious of all, in all.

So I’m saying; it is as though a galaxy is a conscious light being, generating a tremendous energetic field; a great swirling celebration before the eyes of god. I’ve had this impression looking at galactic clouds like some vast petri dish propagating spores; so when I look at our solar system I see a similar model in miniature. I really took notice when I realized the distance, size and mass of the outer planets. Here they are, quite far away & quite massive, yet they are under the sway, rather control of the sun. This is the force of gravity? Amazing! So I begin to recognize in this galaxy, in this solar system, we are all immersed in tremendous force fields, energy fields. We ourselves are energetic fields in relation to all these forces. Perhaps too there is a field of consciousness; as conscious life seems to be some sort of vast field itself; Which suggests the galaxies are teaming with life on many levels, we seem barely able to imagine.

In any case I’m thinking of an incredibly powerful dynamic field, which in someway may be reflected in cycles such as with sun spots. The sun influenced by rhythms in & around it. Perhaps affecting the planets in rhythms & cycles, just look at the pull it has to keep us spinning in space; not to mention the power it has to create life under the right circumstances. So here are all these powerful relationships. If these fields & relationships are not cause & effect, which is the law of karma, what is? So karma is not blame it is simply the result of all causal influences.

If a plane crashes investigator will find a cause, the victims didn’t cause it. Or it wasn’t waiting to get them. They only were susceptible to being in the wrong place at the wrong time, because of both their actions and circumstances. Only humans have a greater opportunity to choose where they are at any moment, which doesn’t equate with blame. The earth is subject to forces, it isn’t to blame.

There is no blame without direct action of some kind; even though the action may be one of neglect; such as with an oversight. Negative results may be avoidable but there is no blame without either intent, or neglect. Therefore there’s no logical reason to lay blame on either victims or Gods, without intent or neglect.

We are subject to suffering, but the causal intent or neglect lies mainly with human kind, neither with Gods or victims. All these circumstances are learning opportunities, if we neglect these opportunities; that indeed is our collective fault and our responsibility, true some who are blameless are bound to suffer for it. But death is no punishment, only a great lost opportunity for all of us, both victim and survivor. Our part then is to learn the lessons; How we may lessen suffering from this day forward.

The Heart of the Matter

Don’t you feel there must be “Oneness” beyond any other? An ultimate wholeness of which there is no other. All this, which we see and conceive of, seems to emerge from the great beyond, “Beyond all conception” thus called indescribably pure, void of limits and so infinitely full of all possibility; transcending thought or number, beyond the confines of time and space; One God of all,all,all, beyond name and form.

Ageless wisdom, with no beginning and no end, lays latent in the “One beyond any other”. Ageless wisdom again and again becomes embodied in the lives of people through the cycle of necessity. Having awakened the powers of love and wisdom, latent in all; compassionate elder souls of the human family, return to help guide others to end suffering and confusion. Some, but few, who host their highest spiritual nature, are know as Avatars. These are the greatest revivalist restoring knowledge of ageless wisdom. They create no religions for they know truth is one forever.

Within this wholeness; enfolding infinite space and eternal matter, there rests the very womb of time and space as we know it. We see all atoms ruled by the laws of time and space; thus subject to individuality. In our own little selves, though ever so close, like the atoms, we remain ever apart.

Though spirit may seem far from us, only “there” in spirit, beyond our separateness may we ever be as one. Aspiring souls first know and love this one as Mother/Father friend, beloved. This is the journey we share with all upon “the path of return” to where we have come from. Thus even now we are together, though we may seem far apart.

Let us not be buried in this field of matter. Soul not fondly lays in a grave. Flowers will not comfort us. The wise awaken foresight. Someday we must set this all aside. Let us give now freely, with nothing pried from our hand.
Now is the time to practice letting go; letting go of conflict, fear & doubt. The wise know we give little to receive so very much. There is a door before us. Unchained to our burdens we are free to enter there and find a place of peace where love and wisdom rule; our beloved waits to greet us there.

Our Journey; Awakening

In seeking understanding
& answers in our life;
I’m convinced we must first
embrace the right questions;
Or more importantly,
the right approach
to our way of asking.

For wisdom & happiness
always seek
a constructive response.
Then undoing happens naturally,
like a clear sky, by letting go.

In all situations,
receptivity will suggest;
“Perhaps there’s another way
of looking at this”.

With right intent we can ask any important question.
Each & every moment we are seeking to know what can I do?
When we are sincere & honest the best answers will come.

Some would like to say our doing is the problem.
Yet we are never without it; for even our not doing is also doing.
Our knowing or not knowing is also part of our doing.
With appreciation, seeking understanding each moment,
Right feeling, kindness & acceptance; is always the answer.

We are asking every moment; what can I do?
Seeing trees & sky; ask what can I do?
Hearing birds; ask what can I do?
Seeking & finding the beloved; ask what can I do?
Just feel each moment with every cell in your body.
Know this is what we can do right now; just be awake.

The Way of the Mystic’s Journey Exploring Ageless Wisdom

Religious traditions seem to be in ruins in the eyes of many modern people. After all, what has been the fruit born by the various traditions? Religion is often seen, primarily as an old artifact like a dry bone, for two sides to fight over. It seems few individuals are very deeply engaged in a meaningful spiritual journey. Religion is admired primarily as a curiosity, to be applied as custom dictates, yet its spirit is seldom integrated with our thoughts, feelings & actions; thus our decline in working ethics. Artifacts are not living things. So at best an artifact religion may acts as a narcotic, numbing pain, but such a drug is far from a cure for the causes of our suffering.

On the other hand throughout time immemorial, bright curious seekers have attentively observed all aspects of spirit & nature with conscious qualities of wisdom and joy. Ages ago this “seekers journey” lead those great souls to awaken, to the highest realms of immortal presence. They fulfilled the soul’s ultimate purpose on the path of return to where we came from. Intuitively we all hope & feel the soul is on a journey home, to our fulfillment in peace & happiness. This hope is the seed of the soul’s yearning and doubt is the root of all our needs and sorrows.

What then are the essential factors, of the ever new, ever present, living path of ageless wisdom?

First of all, there is an essential nature; the ineffable nature of divinity, which ultimately all Mystics and true religious traditions rest upon. This divine nature comes to be called God. Because this essence is beyond time & space, it is also beyond conception and the faculties of though or word, therefore it is inevitably misrepresented by any attempts of intellect to describe or constrain it. Embracing the possibility of a singularity, beyond time & space, with no possibility of any other, is essential to the mystic way. This singularity with no other is hinted at by terms such as God, the ineffable, the infinite.

Secondly everything else therefore is temporal appearance only, like clouds in a clear sky, or waves upon the sea. This is the nature of time & space. Like breath or wind appearance is always moving, ever changing, that is the nature of things. The universe must be an infinite sky, with ever changing galactic clouds. This creation of time/space is a mystery I cannot comprehend. I can only suggest to myself that this is an expression of infinite nature. That infinite nature is a presence which can not be excluded anywhere, that is to say the ineffable wholeness without another is omniscient & omnipresent. This is the ageless birth of beginningless/endless presence; Pure eternal “being” suggested by terms such as Sat-chit-ananda. Here already a shadow forms; the eternal dance of a temporal universe in endless space.

This creation of duality is the basic dynamic of all things. It is the mother of all possibility; mother of infinite possibility. It is vibration, pulsation, force & energy. It is creativity in pure conscious mind.

Now we have a foundation for Body, Mind & Soul. We can consider the nature of universal, ageless, wisdom, the way of knowing, the way of mystics. We can call this religious consciousness, which means pure sacred mind; knowingness. Like a mirror pure mind faithfully reflects whatever appears before it, but itself remains unchanged. It must be universal, all inclusive, without divisions, simply faithful & true.

Now in a world of duality, near & far, here & there, every coin has 2 sides. So here we find the roots of night & day, light & dark, demon & angel; thus the separation of religions. But I would suggest, really there are not, in essence many religions; rather I suggest there are only two types of religions. The clearest way I know of describing these two primary views can be expressed by their opposing views of God. One type, of religious belief, sees God as a Judge; measuring the worth of all things. The other religious view, sees God as a Healer; sanctifying and fulfilling the worth of all things. This is the basic opposition between religious views. Our beliefs, supporting one, leads to destruction; while the other leads us home to heaven. The path to heaven is the way of the mystic.

What is the opposing nature of these two views and the paths they lead us on? One is doing, the other is undoing. One seeks glory in constructing a great edifice, an idol of power, the other seeks to remove the veil which hides the eternal light; which illumines and fulfills the purpose of all things equally. One competes, the other serves. One condemns, enslaves, the other awakens & liberates.
One is blind profanity, the other illumined sanctity. There could be no more clear distinction, yet we mostly seem blind to these qualities, because truth has become veiled by doubt, fear & confusion.

The vital question then becomes; how do we recover from the results of our misperceptions & misconceptions? It would be as simple as turning in another direction; that is to move toward the light, instead of putting the sun on our back. Consider Plato’s analogy of the cave, when we face the wall of our materiality we forget the nature of reality outside our imprisonment of temporal duality.
So we have forgotten our true nature and have created an idol of form & separateness, which leads us to be lost in a wilderness, one we seek to escape yet know not the way.

The way is to turn; to go a different way. To each moment calm your self and look clearly at the step before you, do not act rashly, without clarity & purpose. Every thought or action has a result, this is the law of Karma; it is not to judge you, punish you, or bind you; rather it is to assure you that you can, by your choices, become free. Free of fear, doubt, & suffering, by healing thoughts & actions. Every step toward the light enables you to discover the way to your liberation & happiness. So be glad, and rightly so, when you know you are on a new path which leads you home.

Will you simply accept, that there may be a different way; the way of the mystics, who are those fearless enough to move forward, with an open heart, not judging as in the past, living ever in the present, awakening to ageless wisdom, which is ever new, and leads to a temple of a new Aeon.
Then you know you are on the path of the mystics, leading to ageless universal wisdom; the true heart of your divine nature and the only means of your divine awakening.

Nothing about the mystic path should be external, or foreign to you. You must practice this way in relation to every aspect of your life. The way to practice awakening, is in how you relate to everything you see, hear, smell, touch, taste; all your thoughts, feelings and relationships. See the nature of reality hidden within all these things. “It” is conscious light shining like a rainbow full of joy, love & wisdom. Your very own true nature is reflected everywhere. Your own mind veils every thing . If you lift the veil of your habit thoughts, you will see differently what is vibrant everywhere, oneness clear & bright.

Here is the path;
Imagine you are walking alone in nature
during the peak of springtime, on a beautiful high mountain lane.
You recognize that off to your right,
through the trees is a broad vista of the valley below.
Just ahead you notice a small side trail heading that way;
should you take it; why not, it's going your way.

Very shortly you move through the trees, and break into an opening
overlooking the vast expanse of a high mountain valley
maybe a thousand feet below.

There the wind whispers in your ear stay awhile.
So you find a seat and listen to the quiet wind come from afar.
Wind and tiny birds are the only sounds you hear in timeless expansive peace.

After awhile so content, with quiet expansive mind filling space,
you have noticed before you, a single wild rose swaying in the breeze.
It seems a lovely joyful dance to you;
so lovely your heart swells with the immensity of this grand scene
and little rose; such beauty all.

What strikes most deeply is this gift;
if you had gone the other way, this moment would never be.
Perhaps no eyes would fall upon this rose to acknowledge its loveliness.
And the rose doesn't seem to care, it may return again and again,
hoping to catch the eye of God.

And today in this timeless sacred moment you, the rose, the valley, the mountain
are all vessels for divine mind, so fully present in this moment here;
as it always is, potentially in every single moment, in every single place.

This is the mystic path,
the divine presence you seek and it is always everywhere.
Your path when you allow your awareness to awake to it,
in any & every precious moment.

This awaking is not external to you, coming on to you,
it arises in you, it is being you, now and always;
only you are forgetting what's there in you always.

Just remember the temple you seek is in you always;
any moment you may open the door
and enter that sacred space of communion
with the divine in your heart.
Now & forever carry that knowing with you;
be it and you will share it.

A Universal Dharmic Way

Phaeton - The son of the sun-god Helios. When Phaeton ("the shining one") finally learned who his father was, he went east to meet him. He induced his father to allow him to drive the chariot of the sun across the heavens for one day. The horses, feeling their reins held by a weaker hand, ran wildly out of their course and came close to the earth, threatening to burn it. Zeus noticed the danger and with a thunderbolt he destroyed Phaeton. He fell down into the legendary river Eridanus where he was found by the river nymphs who mourned him and buried him. The tears of these nymphs turned into amber. For the Ethiopians however it was already too late: they were scorched by the heat and their skins had turned black.

“The story of Phaeton has given rise to two latter-day meanings of "phaeton": one who drives a chariot or coach, especially at a reckless or dangerous speed, and one that would or may set the world on fire.”

The Myth of Phaeton displays a symbolism similar to what’s found in the Bhagavad Gita.
Phaeton is the son of Helios the Sun who drives the solar chariot across the sky. Phaeton however insists on trying to drive himself; and scorches the earth as he loses control of the powerful steeds. In the Gita Arjuna chooses Krishna as his chariot driver, which unknown to him assures his victory. It worth considering the mythical, esoteric symbolism of the Sun, Chariots and horses; but that is not my intent here. I’m more interested in delving into the question; how do we discover “proper, constructive, enlightened” direction in our lives?

Here we are in a modern world and our vehicles are not chariots, but we must still drive wisely & carefully. That is the key; as we journey though life if we do not seek or accept the guidance of wisdom,
Our journey will be wild and perilous. Much of our life’s path will be out of control and our surroundings scorched and decimated. How can we discover what plays the part of the driver of the sun in our lives; who or what is the proper driver of our solar qualities. These are questions worthy of our exploration.

I’m sure there are many books, chapters and verses on Solar Mythology. Look them up if you will. Everyone seems to want to talk about cosmological myths of destruction. Certainly we see there are forces in the universe which seem to us either to be benevolent or malevolent. I wouldn’t discount them, but what importance do they have for me unless I see them in my daily life?

Without much stretch one can say that the captains of industry are like Phaeton, thinking they can master the forces of nature, only to crash and burn our ecosystems and environment. But in our personal lives there are qualities we all possess which have a much more immediately relevant impact our on lives perception and state of mind. Perhaps if we focused more on mastering our own personal and interpersonal forces we wouldn’t be so focused on changing the world around us.

Looking at it in this way solar symbology takes on a very direct significance for each of us. Each one of us is carried though life with a body vehicle, or life energies and consciousness driving these. So what is the proper director of these capacities?

Esoterically, Sol is represented and expressed on different levels, in our lives and in our being. Energetically it represents the life force in our body, our inner fire, our passion. On a mental level Sol represents the light which guides us and illumines our way. This light represents our higher intelligence, wisdom itself. We have these capacities, but are we aware of their true nature and how we can be more fully access and utilize our highest native capacities.

Phaeton didn’t know his father, so when he found out who it was he felt he had something to prove and thought he could represent him well, driving his solar chariot. Even though he was strongly advised against it, he displayed a greatly over inflated sense of ego by his inability to receive the wise advice of his father. You can see in this myth an archetypal symbol of soul evolving self. The challenge of developing capacities while under the tutelage of a mentor. Ill prepared and over confident Phaeton was thoroughly overwhelmed, he crashed and burned. This is just how we are when we are unaware of the true nature of our being, and are thus unable to perceive the nature of forces and conditions in our life.

Direct guidance from divine beings is hard to come by, yet we do have instruments which when well attuned provide clear enough perception of the challenges before us. Our higher capacities are inherent, but our ability to access these subtle capacities of consciousness must be refined by developing a spiritual ethic nurtured by honoring qualities such as honesty, discernment, and humility. So it would seem to me the fall of Phaeton is a cautionary tale suggesting the essential nature of Lawfulness, our eastern Dharma, by displaying the inevitable disastrous outcome of ignoring the mentoring advice of our higher Bodhic mind. Wisdom Fellowship

For sometime now; when I hear what to me sounds like an outrageous social issue; such as the worlds current conflicts and economic problems, I’ve thought of creating a separate social issues weblog, apart from any Rosemont issues, because I didn’t want to detract from the purely spiritual quality of universal fellowship. After all universal fellowship can only truly prosper in an atmosphere of peace and justice; and these blessings depend upon the fullest application of wisdom; which is never found in the presence of greed and exploitation as we see today.
Then looking at it another way and for the very same reason I realized there may be some value in addressing social issues from a different perspective, which I’ve decided to tag as wisdom fellowship. Not to say that I am wise, but to say it may be wise to step back and look at some social issues as issues of universal fellowship which as I suggest depend upon justice in order to establish peace.
Right now, in April of 2009, I’m so tired and frustrated in hearing about the world’s drug problems, terrorism and ocean piracy, not to mention the outrageous problem of piracy in our financial markets. If as a culture those in authority and the so called elite can not even see the shame and hypocrisy of it all, then it seems certain our culture in headed toward collapse. All these wars on terrorism, drugs, ocean piracy, and the middle class are all absolutely wrong headed. In the manipulation of our obsession with war we’ve given up the must important war of all, the war on poverty, because winning that war depends upon us destroying greed and exploitation.
Now it seems we’ve submitted to an exploitive war machine like in some science fiction story with a heartless robot intent on taking over the world, to enslave humanity, because we are incapable of solving our own problems. It seems our culture has become overwhelmingly self destructive, because all these wars are really wars upon our selves. Suppression is made necessary because people loath submitting to oppression and exploitation; which destroys both morals and moral. When struck, our animalistic survival instinct reacts by striking back and thus we have fallen into a primitive archaic state of violence without reason or wisdom.
All the problems we face as a race result from humanities greedy narcissistic, indeed fascist urge to control everything by suppressing and exploiting “the other” whom we fear and denigrate. Perhaps it’s true we can not trust those who see us in the same way, but at least to begin changing the state of affairs we can at least respect them. As North Americans let’s consider our neighbors to the south in Mexico and beyond; many U.S. citizens are or know Latin Americans and they are good people, so as always people are not the problem, all people problems stem from dysfunctional relationships. When people are put apart, demonized, or criminalized no solution is possible. So with drug dealers and North American drug users, it’s not a war we need; instead we should hear the problem as a cry for therapeutic help. Drug users of all types, including alcoholics and tobacco users, could be issued prescriptions as part of their therapeutic treatment intended to free them from the harm of abuse or addiction.
What is the problem in Somalia? I’m guessing it’s poverty as in much of the world. Why don’t we fight poverty instead of fighting the people who suffer from it? It’s the same with the drug market. People oppressed by poverty see financiers exploiting their communities and countries and learn from these examples. The western world and China too should put its own house in order, for I am certain we can not afford to send an army or navy against every oppressed person in the world.

Mind Candy for the "New Age" Marketplace

When I was 16 my family moved from my childhood home; so I recognize that change is one of our life initiations. This transition created circumstances which enabled me to recognize and embrace my life’s spiritual journey. Now this was more than 40 years ago, and I’m still discovering the nature of this journey.

Throughout my entire life I’ve assumed and sought the presence of a teacher student relationship. If nothing else life itself is our universal teacher. Never the less one forever seeks a mutual relationship with another, a higher being. I believe loves universal yearning for togetherness is a path all life shares. The lovers yearning for a relationship with the beloved is the very nature of heart consciousness.

This mystery is the great secret of life; the very basis of life’s journey; a journey of return to our home in union with wholeness, completion. That experience is found only by entering the holy temple of peace and immeasurable joy. This journey, to enter the temple of awakening, is the only goal worthy of life’s fulfillment. The mystics of all times and places understand this purpose and seek the way to its realization.

So traveling though life, guided by the silent teacher of inner perception one often seeks to find that relationship in person. This itself is one of the most important lessons in life; to discover the nature of seeking. Life seeks sustenance, understanding, joy, and fulfillment. Life’s goals are universal; what differs are preferences and understanding regarding the nature of fulfillment.

A child, left to their own devises, might eat only candy, maybe different kinds of candy for variety; stopped only by pain and suffering. Then drink water or something until it was ready for more candy. Now the body will know it wants and needs more, but needs may be overridden by desire and eventually conquered; so even innate intelligence can be suppressed by desire. While desire is primal because we all seek happiness, fulfillment, true fulfillment which includes the peace of wisdom, requires intelligence.

Mostly what I see in “the New Age Marketplace” is a lot of mind candy. Perhaps I’m being too cynical, but for effect here’s something to consider. What is the difference between the old age marketplace and the new age one? Perhaps the old sells things and the new sells ideas. But let’s face it what’s always been for sale is ideas of how to be happy. The point is it is finding that makes us happy, not constantly seeking; especially seeking that which can never really lead to lasting happiness anyway. Even in relationship it is never the other person that makes us happy. As suggested before it is the fullness of knowing lasting joy and wisdom that brings us peace. In finding peace our purpose then becomes to find it present everywhere, to find it shared with everyone.

The point I’m getting at is that; if something is to be truly new, it must be different, transformed and transformative. Just buying and selling ideas is nothing new. Something New Age would have to be; embodying, manifesting and sharing something totally different from what has come before. And that would be transformative relationships.

Looking at my relationship with teacher and beloved, I then look at the marketplace and find so many new age teachers who have discovered the answers to life. People, many who after reading a book, or having a dream, are suddenly awakened and called to teach, while I after 40 years am only trying to become a more worthy student of life. No wonder they have something great to sell, while I only have intent to offer.

He who seeks, or seeks to be, a candy man is a narcissist not a teacher. Rather we might seek to offer each other opportunities; to share, embody and manifest something new. That which one should offer is something most of us fear, because we are afraid that none of us are worthy, and so we can’t trust ourselves or others. Yet we must learn to be trustworthy and so learn to trust as well. What we fear is relationship; relationship which matures into community.

If you look at our culture you will see how incredibly immature our relationships are, if we truly have any at all. Everybody is just trying to get their own way. This might be OK if our ways were mature and constructive, but mostly they’re not. Our relationships are not mature because we avoid communication. True communication must be constructive, transformative. If we talk only to control and defend, to build barriers, that is not communication it is aggression and conflict, not fellowship. True communication requires us to be defenseless; to be defenseless we must be fearless.

If one seeks to discover a truly transformative relationship with life itself; leading to the community of wisdom, peace and joy, one must find the presence of the teacher in every moment, and first become a worthy student; a brother, sister to all. One self declared is never a worthy student, teacher or friend.

The Essential Unity of Humanity

Here are the issues I keep coming back to. Culturally from the time of Columbus the post medieval world has dealt more directly than ever with this issue of the relationship of our world cultures. Mostly we have responded in very primitive ways leading to virtually endless war. No modern person could ever convince me that this is, in anyway, a useful means of resolving any issues of our conflicting interest today. As a result of applying, basically an aggressive fascist mind set; to politics, economics and religion, the modern world appears virtually crippled on all levels and unable to realize its innate creative potential.

Now it has often been suggested that “we ourselves are the world”. Nothing mankind does happens outside the aspirations of us as individuals. The seeds of all negative emotions arise from us as individuals. In some way, if only by our acquiescence, we are supporting our own destruction; just as if we were poisoning or cutting our families, or shooting drugs, or assaulting our neighbor. We are it seems in fact acting as a criminal race. We can either reform our behavior or die in disgrace, this seems clear, in fact indisputable to me. There can no longer be any claim or excuse of ignorance. We don't know any better?

Undoubtedly, among thoughtful caring people, there must be universal values equally indisputable. Many things can be disputed, these beliefs we do not yet share, where there is no agreement. But we don’t even really need a long tomb of endless universal laws and punishments. Ignorance, causing conflict is punishment enough for all our failings.

May us just agree that true love and wisdom are priceless gifts of mercy we all cherish. Mercy is the fact that, though gifts of love and wisdom are priceless, they are available to all whom humbly set aside pride of self and bow to the presence of goodness pulsing in our hearts. Goodness is divine presence, which cannot be shut out except through embracing ignorance, the hellish delusion of our separateness, which worships conflict.

Be not a hypocrite or fool who condemns ones brother or sister; for as we judge so are we judged. Good sense and honesty make us think like scriptures; do not as a fool twist the truth. Act rightly; or you condemn ancestors and children alike. Be not a scourge upon the earth; there is no greater shame or poverty. Be not among the self condemned who curse the day they were born and engender celebration the day they die. You can condemn no other; you condemn yourself. Follow not that way.

In all things, measure your ethos with wisdom. Wisdom is nonviolent; though it destroys ignorance, in the same way as darkness flees from light. Love, the fruit of wisdom is like water which is cool and life giving; it quenches fire and shapes rock. All these words you have heard before. Has your heart been as though dead and cold? I think not. Then fear not.

Friends say “all we need is love” but you doubter rather tremble in fear. Where is your heart? If you would stand brave, fight fear; fear of your brother, fear is the hatred that consumes your soul. Fear you have destroyed all that is good. Fear not, for what you call God is good. Good is what destroys hatred, fear and doubt. What is done is not your task. You rule only the kingdom within the dome of your skull; do not think to usurp any other power which is not given to you. Nothing else is yours, yet when wisely there you will be welcome, to be received with infinite grace, love and happiness. There is no other key to your salvation. There is no other way.

Don’t you feel there must be a “Oneness” beyond any other?
An ultimate wholeness of which there is no other.
All that we see and conceive of, seems to emerges from the great beyond, “Beyond all conception”
and thus it is called indescribably pure,
void of limits and also infinitely full of all possibility;
transcending thought or number,
beyond the confines of time and space;
One God of all,all,all, beyond name and form.

Ageless wisdom with no beginning and no end lays latent in the “One beyond any other”.
Within the wholeness, enfolding infinite space and eternal matter;
there rests the very womb of time and space as we know it.
We see all atoms ruled by the laws of time and space; and thus subject to individuality.
In our own little selves; though ever so close to one another; like the atoms, we remain ever apart.
Though spirit may seem far from us; only “there” in spirit, beyond our separateness may we be ever as one.

Ageless wisdom again and again becomes embodied in the lives of people, through the cycle of necessity. Having awakened the powers of love and wisdom, latent in all;
The Compassionate elders of the human family return to help guide others, to end suffering and confusion.
A few, who host their highest spiritual nature, are know as Avatars; the Progenitors of great spiritual families.
They are the greatest revivalist, restoring knowledge of ageless wisdom.
They create no religions for they know truth is one forever.

Aspiring souls first know and love this one as Mother/Father friend & beloved.
This is the journey we share with all, upon “the path of our return” to where we have come from.
Thus even now on this journey we are together, though we may seem far apart.

Let us not be buried in this field of matter.
Soul will not fondly lie in a grave.
Flowers will not comfort us.
Thus the wise awaken foresight.
Someday we must set this all aside.
Let us give now freely, with nothing to be pried from our hand.
Now is the time to practice letting go;
letting go of conflict, fear & doubt.
The wise know we give little to receive so very much.

There is a door before us.
Unchained to our burdens we are free to enter there.
And find a place of peace where love and wisdom rule;

“A Rosemont Way” is an inner personal exploration of our spiritual journey; informed by traditions of universal ageless wisdom. You find this way following your heart; guided by great souls, “the mystic scouts” who have gone before. A Rosemont Fellowship is a meeting place; a road house, where travelers may meet, inform each other and lend support along the way. This Rosemont Way is new age; in the sense that it is vital for our journey to be fresh and alive in this moment; now, is always the moment of discovery. Ageless wisdom traditions honor precepts which are always present and do not depend upon time and clime; age and culture. This is what makes deep wisdom both ageless and universal. There are “ways & means” from times gone by and they must be updated for today, just as we no longer use a telegraph for the communications we need to share. Principles remain, but traditions have their season.

Today if one is Christian we should see how to be more universally relevant, so too if one is Buddhist, or Hindu, or Islamic. Today truly is a new age. For contemplative souls another way is clearly available. This way is not new, but so many opportunities to explore this way are new. The way which is universal is the way of the mystics. If one wants to awaken to an ageless wisdom which is universal, one can see the way in the vision of mystics; the spiritual adepts of all traditions. Today one can embrace and explore the way of spiritual adepts without embracing any one isolated cultural tradition but rather by embracing the way and guidance of great souls from within any or many traditions. The great spiritual masters of the past were often; but not always, associated with the tradition of their culture. Most could not be confined by religious dogma. The truly great souls of humanity are always in some way revolutionary, revolutionary in their ability to revive the ageless wisdom tradition. Some may be priestly, many are not. Most are some sort of practitioner “yogi, alchemist” other may be known as Advahutas i.e. liberated souls. So today a universalist may embrace a traditional religion, or one may associate with no singular religious tradition. A Rosemont Way is away for those who embrace universal essential truth, but seek not to distinguish themselves from other wisdom traditions. A true Universalist honors their connection to what is good in all. This is A Rosemont Way; to honor and emulate the universal way of all liberated souls.

What is it; to be Free?

As a person who idealizes an open mind.
I listen to myself speak; and when I hear assumptions
creeping in to my beliefs, I challenge those assumptions;
I laugh at them because they embarrass me.

I want you to know that The Bhagavad Gita is a bible to me.
Word of God on a battle field. Bibles are our deepest metaphors.
Literal worldly language has no deep spiritual value.
The only true battle is a result of our delusions;
Our wound of separateness; the conflict within us;
Because we belief what is false to be true.

I'm no genius, but I'm determined to end my exile from knowing what is.
And on this journey I'm not sure of much but what I write here,
I'm sure of.

This I'm sure of;
War is wrong.
Supporting war is wrong.
Justifying war is wrong.
Excusing war is wrong.
War is a demonstration that we are wrong.

Caring and compassion is right.
That is to be truly human.
To war is demonic, and it is evil.
It springs from ignorance,
But ignorance is no excuse.

We are born to learn how to express our humanity.
We must learn to worship wisdom and love.
When we lie about it, we taint it, we spoil it,
we loss our sense of humanity.
Religious people should be more careful,
In their words and deeds.
For in carelessness we defile the name of God.
Only when we speak the truth can we be forgiven.
Our God does not judge us, only we judge.
We walk a razors edge, when we fall from the truth,
We suffer, we bleed, we go to hell.
There to find the endless war we always seek to justify.
In war we condemn ourselves to suffering.
War is the hell of our own creation.

God is love which is based upon wisdom.
Our only salvation is to be wise and to act out of love.
By ignorance we condemn ourselves.
In wisdom we find unending love to share with all and thus receive.
I pray for us to honor our God; awaken in love and become truly free.

The Highest Yoga

As you must know by now, life is a spiritual journey of awakening; recognizing the infinite nature of divine presence. And we are like a prodigal child, lost in the dream of our forgetfulness. Conditioned; now seemingly imprisoned by our doubts, wounded by our fears, sickened by our selfishness, we have accumulated a heavy burden of debt. Habituated we become like vampire junkies unwilling or unable to truly love one another and thus serve our own best interest. This is the sad state of affairs we fall into while following a mindless way like hunger ghost; ever aching from hunger, yet unable to find any satisfaction in empty pseudo fulfillments.

This is why yoga is so important for us. It is a key which opens the heavy doors of our forgetfulness. Yoga is not some foreign exercise in self aggrandizement. Yoga simple means awakening to our inherent oneness, yoga is our reunion in eternal presence. This is what it means. If the ego enters there it must offer itself up as sacrifice, for there, in the truth from which we spring, there is no room for some “other”. Our separateness is our exile from the One we truly are. Separateness is the dream of forgetfulness; it is our wounding, and our endless hunger. We’re always seeking some other, a longing never satisfied; for it is our error. You are not some other; God is not some other; for if you are, then we are forever apart and never fulfilled, then neither can there be a perfect God, when two are forever partial, never fully whole.

Following this line of thinking we may come to see that true love is the ultimate yoga. True Divine Love is our reunion, our awakening in wholeness. Many say that “Bhakti” meaning devotion, is love for the other; the Love for God and of God. This explains the eternal dance we see; Spirit & Nature ever dancing together. Still this “maya” - dance of time & space is but a dream, forgetful of the one which is whole yet infinite. Though ineffable, there is the One beyond; the union of infinite wisdom and bliss. This is our true nature and knowing this we awaken in love, true beyond any other. You and I and every “other” fully endowed with gifts beyond measure. Knowing this there is no need; only fulfillment in oneness shared with all. We can and must see this both within us and all around us. Then we awaken. This is the highest yoga I have found.

Here’s the heart of the matter. All our thoughts feelings and actions arise from our perception of what we see before us. We are always responding in relationship to what we accept as true and real. When we believe in our separateness it seems fear and conflict will rule our vision. If we believe in wholeness it must be reflected as compassion and caring in all relations; because in wholeness our relation is with our very own self image. Only when we know and trust ourselves can we embrace each as our very own.

Advice to Myself

It seems to me, we have more than quite enough religion; though based on the highest philosophy; they also generate prolific speculation, claims and conflicts. We also have plenty modern contemporary teachers capably demonstrating personal claims and adept business acumen. What seems more rare are selfless lovers of the one transcendental beloved, which heals all wounds and embodies endless peace.

So, as a wanderer on my way, I'd normally be reluctant to write this way. Yet, if I could go back in time, I would advice myself to recognize that the way to happiness arises of itself, though the end of suffering. I know the only advice one can offer is that which one is able to receive. I remember the curiosity of youth as well as my own innocence. Good advice depends upon receptivity and it should be based on shared experience rather than opinion. With this in mind and a caring heart I offer this perspective looking back at what is known.
One should recognize, and accept the fact, that if you live well, youth is brief and truly all your life is spent growing older. Childhood last about 15 years, and young adulthood may be another 15 years; women peak physically earlier then men, and males reach their athletic peak by 30, when highly trained. If not well trained one peaks sooner and at a lower level of capacity. You will see that only a few exceptions can truly compete athletically after 35.
So from 30 to 80 are 50 years of aging; which demand maturity. If you smoke and drink, worry or hate; you begin to grow old almost immediately at least within a few years. It's well known that there is a universal law of cause and effect. It works in physics as well as in all that we do. It works on mental and spiritual levels as well as the physical. You can try to deny the obvious, but it won't go away. All our stress is cumulative and it's much easier to avoid, rather then try to mitigate it after the fact.
No matter what your poison; whether it's fat or sugar, drugs or alcohol, hatred or greed, it will have its way with you. You know the saying you are what you eat? Don't doubt it; because you will also eat the way you are. All your thoughts and feelings leave a mark on your own psyche. Whenever and whatever you `dump' upon one another will stay with you and sicken within you.
In case you don't know this; you have to face it now; we all suffer. The only way to mitigate that fact is; to be wise, and to do `good'; or to die. Those are the three choices we all face; to suffer, to mitigate suffering, or to die; and the third is the easiest of the three. The second is the most rewarding and the first is the hardest. We can't change others, but we can understand our self. Any issues we face are rooted within us. We can't change others or the past, but we can learn something from our every thought, feeling and action; and this we must do. If we learn, and we change, and act, the world will be a better place, and if we don't, suffering will increase.

So when you find a way that you truly feel will lead you to a deeper peace and a perception of truth; then remember it always and never forget to follow that way. This seems clear to me. I wish you all the best; wisdom, peace, true love for all and happiness.

There's virtually nothing that I've given more consideration to in my life. I've observed, participated; both failed and succeeded. What is Ageless Wisdom? That which is essential truth without beginning or end is called by many names; some call it Perennial Wisdom, or Eternal Wisdom, in the east the same is Sanatana Dharma, or perhaps Bodhidharma. It is Gnosis. It is called by other names as well. It is known by the mystics of all ages and cultures who feel that there is a transcendental ideal, infinite & eternal, which encompasses all. This ideal without beginning or end, can not be shut out or excluded anywhere. Nothing can be outside that, because there is no outside. There is only an Infinite wholeness and no other. Consider it the very highest ideal of an Idealist. Religiously let’s say there are two types of visions. There is vision which separates and judges everything; and there is vision which unifies and heals everything. The later vision is universal ageless wisdom, which is all embracing.

What then is a Universalist? Such a person today will not necessarily, nor even likely, be the member of any particular religion or sect, yet wishes all well. Such a person would be concerned with essential precepts, which lead toward an all embracing vision of reality rather than any dogma which causes the mind to limit and separate anything; seen or unseen. A Universalist is by nature a person dedicated to the deep mysteries of heart & mind; Such a Universal Idealist strives also be a practical caring person; yearning to end suffering because any suffering, is their suffering; realizing that ending separateness eventually leads to wholeness and the end of suffering.

We might just as well ask; spiritually what is a New Age Universalist. The heart of the matter is the same. First of all what is “new” must be something that springs from a direct personal realization, in the ever present moment. Spiritual Awakening truly is something ever new, fresh & vibrant, beauties blossom. When creativity and innovation is actually directed by a true spiritual awakening then we can call our actions and our guiding spirit, new age.

If you recognize the value of ideas such as these, or wish to, or you already embrace and strive to live by these and similar ideas, don’t you also recognize that you should share and develop them whenever you have the chance? Many individuals seek to discover universal ideals, because these same ideals are secreted in their hearts, but they don’t find many avenues for expression. Let us create opportunities to manifest a truly New Age Universal Way and a fellowship dedicated to the mystic’s path of ageless wisdom.

The most enriching holistic lifestyle would be when we have a deep personal connection to all the people and living beings in our little world; and though them to connect with all life on the planet and spirits everywhere. How often do we have a deep meaningful feeling for all the people in our life; our co-worker, our boss, our doctor, our neighbors and their families, the people we disagree with, and the ones who disagree with us?

The Rosemont Way – The Way of Mystic Raja Yogis

The Way of Mystics is; well a mystery to us; because is hidden so very deep with your heart. As you might presume it is not easily accessible, because one’s heart is something very tender; it feels vulnerable. And we do pretty much everything to protect it from our doubts and fears. We bury it so deep; behind think walls; we have little access to it. Sure we knock once and awhile on the thick heavy door we have installed to guard it. We hear back its faint beat and feel, I guess, it’s ok.

There is a universal yoga,
which is really not a way.

All of the other yoga’s are ways to come to the door of this one yoga; the yoga which is the very heart of the mystic, the very heart of the one mystery of life itself.

If you know anything about yoga you should know it is the very essence of spirituality. The very heart of any true religion refers to our divine reunion. Our coming to know what is divine.

Mystics are open hearted souls who awaken to this reunion. This divine reunion is the healing we all seek on the path of our return to the blessed state of awakening which we all deserve as children of the One, the One which we can not elude.

This one universal yoga may be called Raja Yoga, because it is supreme. None of the other yogas are true yoga’s unless they are informed by this supreme yoga. Gyana yoga is the wisdom that informs all yoga science and philosophy, but the yoga which ensouls the supreme yoga is known as bhakti. It is the great mystery of the mystic. It is the love which makes all things one. And from it arises a vibration, like a magnetic force, which connects and harmonizes the pulse of time and space.

The universal way of the mystic raja yogi is to see it; to recognize oneness everywhere, to honor it in every thought and feeling, and to serve it in all ways. It is the Tao of Krishna, Buddha, Moses, Christ, Mohammad and their true fellowship. It is the universal way of the heart awakening. Everything arises from an act of love, whether there is understanding wisdom or not. When we seem to be parted from love our life is like walking on a razors edge. But when we are walking in love life is a gift of joy shared in every moment. So may you be blessed with roses everywhere! Awakened!

What is New Age?

Esoteric contemplation suggests; that which has been called new age is but a spark of ageless wisdom. It is like a speck of fire falling from the sky intent on igniting whatever it touches.

Ageless wisdom springs from mystical universal consciousness, which is beyond time and space, without beginning or end. Beyond the boundaries of mind this wisdom is hidden from us and known as occult, because it cannot be touched by thought; and is known only by intuitive perception, by those with eyes to see. By our intuitive perception we realize that “all there is”, must be within the realm of some ineffable divine consciousness which is beyond thought, yet perceived by a silent witness.

Intuition beyond the boundaries of thought, suggests, all that is, is within the infinite field of universal consciousness, which we call by definition God; that which is all encompassing. Universal consciousness is somewhat like a mirror reflecting all that is. But without this mirror it seems nothing is because only the reflection can be perceived by our mind. This universal consciousness is like the eye of God. When open all exists, when closed all is but a phantom dream reflection.

Anyone who tries to exclude anything from this all seeing eye is blind to the reality of this universal conscious presence. When we sleep and dream, we are blind to the waking world, yet our dream is rooted in, based upon, the waking world. So too “this world” the world of our waking reality is like a dream based upon a more subtle reality. Perceiving this reality a seer know as the Trismestigus, Hermes said; “That which is below, is like that which is above.” Meaning that there is a hidden blueprint for everything we see. If something didn’t exist in divine consciousness it wouldn’t be at all. And there is nothing which is nothing. There is nothing which is not known to the knower of all that is.

Mystics; the knowers of universal ageless wisdom have said, “What is waking to the deluded man is like sleeping to the wise”. Deluded we believe in the dream of our separateness, we dream we are wandering lost and alone, exiled from the one which embraces all. By thought we dream we are exiled in time and space, yet our home, our point of origin is beyond thought, beyond time and space, which are the creation of thought, and the belief in our separateness by which we are imprisoned. So what is new is the moment of our awakening to what is ageless. And that moment can be in any moment; it can be, it must be, in each and every moment.

Our awakening is not really new in that it is a reawakening. The mystic path has been rightly called “the path of recognition”. Our awakening is remembering what is ageless. What is ageless, beyond time and space, is in one sense ever new. It is the instantaneous awakening to what always is, in every moment. This awakening to what always is, is called new age, only because we remember what always was and thus our awakening is ever new because it is timeless, without beginning or end. The universal path of incarnation is the re-cognition of universal oneness in the eternal moment now. It is awakening to the “oneness”, the wholeness of our eternal being. What is nameless is thus called by many names, because in the one there is always the infinite potential of the other. That is the occult nature of the infinite.

Though consciousness is ever wakeful,
It is always dreaming the other.
Its secret; its blessing, is love for the other.
So it is said we are made in that image.

This is a mystery without beginning or end.
Thus the master knows it is always ever new.

A heart such as this will recognize that a robe of glory enwraps and sanctifies all sincere hearts; thus a Universalist honors all paths leading toward the one good.

There are many ecumenical movements, whose endeavors are to be admired. And all loving heart may Journey on a Rosemont way, but embracing various religions is not the essential intent of A Rosemont Journey. A Rosemont Journey is fully and lovingly embraced by openhearted souls seeking to serve the one in all; by celebrating an end of judgment and displaying a personal culture of Universal Fellowship.

A Rosemont Journey is an expression of Universal love more akin to the way of awakened sages and mystics. The Universal Path is found in the essential teachings of all Mystics, Gnostics & Yogis.

Awakening Universal Ideals

Can we ever doubt the mysterious universal laws underlying all we see and know?

Just look at the cycles of life displayed before us in all things from a blade of grass to the sun and galaxies. An alchemical mystery is hinted at when various factors of thoughts and experiences come together to make something familiar, seem new again. A kind of sympathy, a simpatico, is suggested when one thought draws to itself another. An awareness of this mystery may even arise though dissatisfaction and doubt.

When doubts prevailed; as described in the Bhagavad-Gita, Arjuna sought higher guidance. The Great Universalist and Yoga Master Paramhansa Yogananda offered a commentary on “The Bagavad Gita”, of which he said, “New scripture is born from ageless truth”.

Just so, in every true scripture a universal path of return is clearly revealed.
The path of the souls journey home is a path of universal love, in service to the beloved.
All who are true to their ideals serve that which is beloved in them.
Therefore the well-founded advice is often heard “Follow your Dream”.

I read a thought by the theosophist Katherine Tingley. She said something like this in her book “The Path of the Mystics”. “The trouble with most people is that they don’t honor their dreams, which can elevate us all.” Dreams married to creative power can change the world. Why not fully embrace your dreams of universal love and goodwill, why do we manifest dreams of conflict and destruction. See what is good, honor the high ideals enthroned in your heart and make them real in your life. Create what is good and you support that dream in others. That is the true path of devotion, to serve the power of good in all that you see.

Embracing the ageless ideals of inner alchemy, determined anew dedicate more than thoughts alone to the dream of universal fellowship. Daily dedicate my attention to the ideals of our universal journey home and universal fellowship as a vessel for our journey.

Explore the Rosemont Way of Universal Fellowship. A Rosemont Way is to awaken to divine presence in this moment now; with this breath, this realization, this love, this vision. We should learn from the past, gather good seed, cultivate it wisely, and then we live in a garden beyond our dreams. The Mystics of all times and climes are Universalists whom we would do well to emulate. Today those who strive to awaken; to seeing the one in all, we could call New Age Universalist; just as the mystics of days gone by were. By saying New Age here I mean to imply two ideals. First is implied the Aquarian ideal, which honors “the one in all”; transcending the conditions of class and culture; secondly, “new age” here refers to the freshness of the eternal moment now. We might say, ever new age. In the same way that each breathe springs from the past, yet must give life itself; our spirituality must live in the present. We can only awaken in this present moment now. This way has found expression throughout the ages in many Ageless Wisdom traditions. We don’t have to minutely analyze each of these traditions, and compare them, or wear their garb; we need only to come face to face with the one luminous clarity which awakens all. Find this “way” in a tradition and you enter the heart of the matter; there ends judgment, and this is the end time; the end of your separateness. Ask yourself this single question; can “the concept of community” serve “the Ideals of Universal Fellowship”? At first glance it seems quite obvious that it can; so if the answer is yes then the question becomes how?

First - May we Empower this Moment

Please take a moment to reflect upon our highest Ideals for human relationships and what perhaps might be our shared common vision of the future. One way we can support any shared dreams is to see ourselves in the way we’d like to be.

So if you’d close your eyes and take three deep breaths; with the first breath draw your attention to the solar plexus, then the heart and finally the point between the eyebrows.
Imagine as if we are like spiritual honeybees forming a circle in our hive, and then we are like a string of shining pearls or clear diamonds surrounding a lake of shining gold; honey which we have all gathered here. This radiant “honey” is from the nectar of our mutual respect, our love and compassion. Being spiritual this golden lake is formless and also with a deep radiant blue aura; like an alpine sky.
In the center rises a lotus alsoblue like the sky and from the lotus rises a blue goddess with shining golden adornments the embodiment of our open-hearted love, she smiles, our heart smiles, and now there are radiant blessings everywhere; in us, in the entire world, the whole universe and beyond the physical. Now vibrate; Aum Shanti Shanti Shanti! Peace, Amen

Universal Fellowship - The Foundation for a New Age Culture

Let’s first consider the stated “Three Objects” of the Theosophical Movement.

I: To form a nucleus of the Universal Brotherhood of Humanity, without distinction of race, creed, sex, caste, or color.
II: To study of ancient and modern religions, philosophies and sciences, and demonstrate the importance of such study;
III: The investigation of the unexplained laws of Nature and the powers latent in man.

Historical the Theosophical Movement has spawned off many like minded groups and has provided a philosophical foundation for countless others. Today I believe Theosophical groups are primarily seen as educational organizations. Rightly or wrongly the general impression of a Theosophical organizations is that they are intended support what might be called the “alternative” educational needs solely of its membership. So a question arises; how can true “theosophist” and other like-minded seekers, more fully realize and express in their daily lives day-to-day, moment-to-moment and in relationship, the highest principle ideal of the movement, which is “Universal Fellowship”?

It seems to me that if there where a strong conscious embodiment of universal thinking and feeling there we would develop a force for spiritual unification, and a vision in which all like minded seekers could happily join together, in order to manifest a truly Universal Fellowship; as suggested in the stated objects of the T.S., such a fellowship would act as a powerful force of wisdom and good in the world. Of course in any present moment we can treat strangers kindly, but is there something more that should be done? Can’t we think and act in ways that creates a cultural power in our lives and in our society? There are actually a great number of individuals who think along the same lines as those of the Theosophical Ideals, yet there are almost certainly less than 50,000 people associated with various theosophical organizations. One could conservatively speculate that there are easily 500,000 like-minded individuals, supporting the high ideal of modern theosophy, in the city of Los Angeles California alone; and in the world several million.

The universal foundational concepts of theosophy may be, for each of us, a deeply personal and sacred thing. A universal theosophy refers to the bliss filled union of divine wisdom and divine love, which all spiritually minded people seek. Throughout the ages mystery teachings have conveyed some understanding of the nature of reality and creation, by symbolizing it as a mystery dance and union between a god and goddess, time and space. The great attracting power of divine love is the very source of creation and unfolding of wisdom. The ideal; perfect lover of “God” is always depicted as a mother, goddess, Sophia, Isis, Shakti. This great mystery leads to an ageless universal sacred truth, the “One”, which is infinite and eternal.

Here’s a quote from “a letter from an Elder Brother“; from Letters from the Masters of the Wisdom, Second Series, edited by C. Jinarajadasa. It reads; "Theosophy must not represent merely a collection of moral verities, a bundle of metaphysical ethics epitomized in theoretical dissertation. Theosophy must be made practical, and has, therefore to be disencumbered of useless discussion. . .. It has to find objective expression in an all-embracing code of life thoroughly impregnated with its spirit -- the spirits of mutual tolerance, charity and love. Its followers have to set the example of a firmly outlined and as firmly applied morality before they get the right to point out, even in a spirit of kindness, the absence of a like ethical unity and singleness of purpose in other associations and individuals."

A true theosophist or universalist is one who acts to purify heart and mind with every breath. These are the true Yogi’s, Sufi’s, saints and sages of all ages. A theosophist or universalist must understand the hermetic ideal, which states as above so below. Everything; object, motion, thought, feeling, word; all these somehow symbolize the deeper reality of an eternal truth. For these reasons those who follow the primordial traditions of ageless wisdom understand all scripture too is symbolic of this occult, hidden, eternal truth.

Jewish scripture may speak of the chosen people; Christian scripture may speak of those with faith as living and those without as dead. The literalists who worship words as objects are confounded by their idols, because universal, eternal truth is not objective, nor can it be subjective. It is occult, hidden or veiled by our mental constructs. (At best our thoughts may point us in the right direction. But it is the vessel of a pure heart, which carries us to the shores of wisdom and provides a robe of glory to protect us as we climb to the mountaintop of true theosophical realization; To, there worship the Idol of eternal truth; the same ideal enshrined in the Lodge of the Masters and in the cave, or temple of our heart).

My credo as a Theosophist is further enlivened by my total dedication as a Universalist. As a Theosophist I believe I must embody ideals, which are Universal in nature, ideals which are ageless, i.e. without beginning or end, Ideals which emanate from the Divine’s omniscience and are revealed in our awareness of the divine’s omnipresence. I say again this Icon; the light of eternal truth is worshiped in the center of the Lodge of the Masters and should be enshrined in the heart of all-true Theosophists who are true Universalists. A true Theosophist and a true Universalist is one who effortlessly absorbs the essence of all wisdom traditions so deeply as to know the oneness of all, not just theoretically, but with the hearts certainty. A Universalist recognizes the one seated even in the heart of a sworn enemy, let alone in the heart of sectarian seekers of various persuasions. There is no difference between a true theosophist and a Universalist except that the term theosophist has come to be associated in the minds of many with particular and specific traditions; thus the term Universalist establishes a broader, more all-inclusive perception.

A Truly Universalist Culture

“One has to forge oneself into an instrument of service. This involves a radical reorganization of the whole nature, a work that lies less on the outer plane than on the planes of one’s inner being. This reorganization amounts to a spiritual rebirth, and Brotherhood is its basis.” N. Sri Ram

Countries are becoming more multi-cultural, multi-racial. Believe systems such as religions tend to become narrow and exclusive, rather than broad and inclusive. Our current culture is still very segmented and narrowly focused. While transcending divisions a Universalist might still be a Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, Jew or even none of these. A Universalist may in practice embrace a particular faith, or by honoring the one in all may explore a deeply personal Universal path. A Universalist in each moment honors the oneness of all creation. A heart such as this will recognize that a robe of glory enwraps and sanctifies all sincere hearts; thus a Universalist honors all paths leading toward the one good. There are many ecumenical movements, whose endeavors are to be admired. And all loving heart may Journey on a Universal way, but embracing various religions is not the essential intent of A Universal Journey. A Universal Journey is fully and lovingly embraced by openhearted souls seeking to serve the one in all, by celebrating an end of judgment and displaying a personal culture of Universal Fellowship.

We can and should have a vision of a Universal Fellowship,
which transcends the separateness of religions, philosophies and organization.
Our Universal vision can make room for all the multifarious blossoms of cultural creativity, which provide opportunities and elicit the participation of sincere seekers everywhere.

Throughout countless ages prophets, seers and spiritual masters have revealed their perception of the underlying universal oneness, which we call “the truth of God” and for just as many ages mankind has argued over the nature and reality of spiritual truth. Despite age-old differences among religions and philosophies, although it’ has taken millenniums and countless adept revelations, the universal paradigm known as mysticism has become more broadly accepted. In it various forms mysticism is known by many names. Whether called gnosis, theosophy, yoga, Vedanta, the Tao or some other name, mysticism represents a personal awakening to Universal Ageless Wisdom, which reaches beyond the limits of discursive thought. This awareness reveals the all-inclusive vision of reality so sorely needed in our world today. This truly ageless universal vision is one of the spiritual paradigms so wide spread today. A contrary paradigm is fundamentalism in all its forms.

This has always been the spiritual battle in the minds of men, whether to see God as a ruthless judge condemning sinners, or as a healer restoring the wisdom faculties of all mankind. Any universal truth must be both balanced and inclusive, like the kabalistic tree of life, which includes both a pillar of mildness and a pillar of severity. Our challenge is to live in balance between extremes. This is the middle way, the path of peace.

An Aquarian Ideal - the Sense of Unity - Living in a New Paradigm

We can’t and we shouldn’t expect “leaders” whether group, or organizational, or political, or world leaders to have all the answers. Cultural development is something we can all facilitate. If we offer our energies on all levels, mental and emotional, as well as physically and spiritually, the power of a true universal spiritual communion and community would be very great indeed. I’d like to paraphrase a well-chosen phrase of Dr. Ravi Ravindra’s by saying; Without Spirit it can’t be done. Without us it won’t be done.

I have been exploring the issue of how I might become involved in promoting the ideals of Universal Fellowship though the vehicle of Intentional Community. My exploration showed me how difficult it can be to fully grasp these wide-ranging concepts of Universal Fellowship and Intentional Community. The more I‘ve thought about these grand ideals the broader and deeper became my scope of thinking. I’ve come to recognize that what I might call “Aquarian Cultural Creativity” is a broader topic to consider and fits the need of the day. I use the term “Aquarian” as a call for each of us as individuals to envision and embody our own highest ideals.

I’d like to pause here for now to say God willing;
Let us establish a Sense of Unity as a large group of like minded seekers, children of “The One”
When I say these words I first look at this group of thoughts and faculties, which I call my self.
This is the first group where I need to establish a sense of unity.
For if I don’t find it here can I ever find it anywhere?

In this way we can establish unity as our path to awakening. Let us continue.

A Rosemont explorer finds one sweetness in all paths whether Christian mystic, Ishmaelian Sufi, Kashmiri Shaivite, Raja Yogi, Dhyana Buddhist or some other highway. A Rosemont explorer surely respects the kernel, but worships only it's everlasting sweetness.

Awaken to The Sacred Moment

Our Ideals are like perfect diamonds, our dreams are not imaginary, they are talismans of great power, jewels of incalculable value. Perhaps you remember the great Platonic ideals, which are the Good & the Beautiful. These are the ideals we awaken to when we surrender ourselves to an open & honest participation in the sacred nature of our relationship in the world. When we honor our life, and the lifes of others we are empowered and we empower each other though the sacred ceremony of our awakening, the intent of which was to empower our individual awareness of the One, to more fully awaken to our soulful nature, by honoring the sacred and holistic nature of all life. This process of empowerment is nurtured though participation and communal awareness.

I must share with you some of the ideals which I want to be more awakened in me. Being awakened to our deepest ideals , means our ideals become even more real to us, they are not then just an idle dream we too easily forget. Living our ideals they become reality, and this is why we need each other, and we need to share and support each others highest ideals. As a yogi a part of me has always assumed that my union with the divine was first to be discovered in private with God alone and then reflected in the world. While in a sacred moment, honoring the sacred relationship between lover & beloved, I now more truly see that the Good & the Beautiful are truly, always and forever embodied in this world, anxiously awaiting our awakening.

It is our sacred duty to be fully attentive and thus worthy of awakening to this reality. It is because we have not fully honored the sacred nature of the world, in our relationships and in our selves that we have not found our true heavenly home, which is actually right here before us. How can we see our heavenly home more clearly? By offering all of life our awakened presence. Recognizing and honoring the sacred essence in all life we accomplish our awakening. Through life’s sacred ceremony of surrendering love and recognizing the beloved, our lives honor what is good & beautiful. The hidden key, which unlocks the door to our dreams, is to honor the sacred nature of life. Looking on all life with the eyes of a lover, you may simply practice honoring life’s sacred presence. Say to yourself “This thought, this feeling, this object before me is a sacred vessel”.

Let this be the sacred nature of our awareness, our shared presence. With our awakened presence may we recognize the sacred nature of each of us . Looking into each other’s eyes may we bestow a sacred empowerment though our mutual recognition. All that we see is a great community, whether we see it in conflict or in harmony, in balance or disorder, in growth or destruction. Awakened, may wisdom guide us toward what is good, what is beautiful.

The Buddha declared there are three Precious Jewels, First is the Buddha, “The Awakened One, Knower of the Lover and Beloved” Second is Dharma, “The Sacred Nature of Life”, Third is Satsanga, “The Truth of our Oneness”. When we recognize the very real power and priceless value of these three precious gems, and truly see these precious ideals in each other’s eyes, we shall know what we are and what we must do.

A Heart Sanctuary For A New Aeon My DedicationTo A Rosemont Journey

In the rose garden on Krotona Hill, in Ojai California, sometime very close to 5:50 am. On November sixteenth 1993 I witnessed what for me was truly a singular experience. I had arisen a few minutes after 5:30 in hopes of seeing this celestial event. As I stepped outside the sky was just beginning to show its signs of morning light. Looking west Orion stood boldly over the horizon. In the northeast the familiar Big Dipper poured forth. As I approached my eastern viewing sight, the sky was beginning to light up. Medium level clouds streaked the sky in broad, yet separate bands, adding a beautiful mellow peach color to the subtle blue and gray sky tones. While beautiful in itself this is not exactly what I had hoped to see.

My objective was planetary observation. Enjoying the brightening sky I was able to observe both Venus and Jupiter which had been in close conjunction about one week earlier. Holding My fingertips at arms length they were now three finger widths apart, Venus above Jupiter. I was about to abandon my morning quest when it happened. The event I had risen in hope of seeing, Mercury rising. Never before do I recall rising to see this. At first it was on the mountaintop. I thought perhaps it was just a bright earth bound light. I moved to see if there was separation between it and the earth. It was so bright and rising in the sky for a moment I thought perhaps it is a large plane coming toward me. Then I saw clearly, it is the Son of Ra, messenger of solar wisdom. Clearly I had seen Mercury rise over the hills of Ojai.

There peeking from between the now flaming cloud bands stood Mercury, Jupiter and Venus all in Scorpio. Mercury now was but two finger widths from Jupiter with Jupiter pointing the way east, being slightly east of Mercury and Venus. This was a singular moment in my life never again will I see it for the first time. I know not when this celestial event happens again. Pondering this celestial glory I though to myself what better time could there be, then the present, to once again dedicate my heart in service to all who are seeking to serve the New Aeon, the universal spirit of oneness; which though divine love and joy, embodies the sacred science of ageless wisdom, a progressive theosophy of divine awakening.

Standing there, I was wishing a dear friend could be there to share the beautiful treasure of this experience; a friend like one who revealed to me the value of worshiping an eternal moment shared by the infinite, perhaps through a celestial event awakening a mystical sense of oneness.

From my heart I expanded a feeling of oneness to embrace all. Through the hearts connection oneness indeed was there with me. The Divine Mother Father God of all, manifest everywhere as pure conscious energy, awakens the soul to a universal theosophy on all levels. This path, born of true, divine love, is both a means and an end to the souls journey though life. There among the roses I determined to dedicate myself, heart and soul, to help establish A Rosemont Journey as a Heart Sanctuary for the New Aeon. The Universalist path of Ageless Wisdom leads to the New Aeon's temple of universal love being established in the very heart of your soul.

The goal of the Rosemont Journey is to help souls awaken to the progressive experience of a personal theosophy; this is a divine awakening. In order to discover this path to the temple within; the sanctuary of true universal love, it must be consecrated both within the heart, and though a fellowship of hearts which are dedicated to sharing the development of a personal Adept Path leading to the experience of Integral Living.

One way a consciousness of this Universalist Path to a New Aeon can manifest in our lives is though the formation of a group of goodhearted souls who, more than anything else, wish to serve with wisdom and compassion, the divine truth they see within each other. This Day I pray that you may join me in seeking to embody this spirit, of the ever new Aeon, the angel of light shining in the hearts of all souls who are truly seeking wisdom, through realizing the oneness within all that is and by manifesting a deepening expression of world unity and universal fellowship Peace to You!

Integral Yoga Therapy

Practiced with attention Yoga is a holistic therapy, which helps establish a sense of harmony in our body, mind and soul.
The impact and potency of Yoga, as with any therapy, depends upon several factors.
It treats a cause not just an effect
Personal participation is an active release of causes not merely passive.
Thus an awareness of causal relations awakens.
Finally the potential for foundational transformation occurs.

Since 1972 I have explored the path of yoga. This picture of me was taken around 1979. The Yoga Sutra’s designate 8 aspects of this path. I have noticed that while Hatha Yoga is widely publicized, the holistic foundations of a much broader yoga tradition are not widely recognized.

Whether Vedic, Buddhist, Taoist, or Gnostic, yoga depends upon an all-encompassing awareness of causal relationships. For example when we reach for food what is our motive cause, is it hunger, greed, or the will to nourish? There may be a difference as there are subtle causes for all actions and cause determines effect. So in yoga practice we should recognize whether we nourish the soul, or only feed our hunger. One must always ask what is my motive. When we nourish the soul it is called kriya, when we feed our hunger it is karma.

You don’t need a deep understanding of this concept to take the next step on your journey toward self-actualization, you just need a motive; it may be physical, mental or spiritual.

A Universal Journey is fully and lovingly embraced by openhearted souls seeking to serve the one in all, by celebrating an end of judgment and displaying a personal culture of Universal Fellowship.

We can and should have a vision of Universal Fellowship, which transcends the separateness of religions, philosophies and organization. Our Universal vision can make room for all the multifarious blossoms of cultural creativity, which provide opportunities and elicit the participation of sincere seekers everywhere.

Throughout countless ages prophets, seers and spiritual masters have revealed their perception of the underlying universal oneness, which we call “the truth of God” and for just as many ages mankind has argued over the nature and reality of spiritual truth. Despite age-old differences among religions and philosophies, though it’s taken millenniums and countless adept revelations the universal paradigm known as mysticism has become more broadly accepted.

In it various forms mysticism is known by many names. Whether called gnosis, theosophy, yoga, Vedanta, the Tao or some other name, mysticism represents a personal awakening to Universal Ageless Wisdom, which reaches beyond the limits of discursive thought. This awareness reveals the all-inclusive vision of reality so sorely needed in our world today. This truly ageless universal vision is one of the spiritual paradigms so wide spread today. A contrary paradigm is fundamentalism in all its forms.

This has always been the spiritual battle in the minds of men, whether to see God as a ruthless judge condemning sinners, or as a healer restoring the wisdom faculties of all mankind. Any universal truth must be both balanced and inclusive, like the kabalistic tree of life, which includes both a pillar of mildness and a pillar of severity. Our challenge is to live in balance between extremes. This is the middle way, the path of peace.

An Aquarian Ideal the Sense of Unity - Living in a New Paradigm

We can’t and we shouldn’t expect “leaders” whether group, or organizational, or political, or world leaders to have all the answers. Cultural development is something we can all facilitate. If we offer our energies on all levels, mental and emotional, as well as physically and spiritually, the power of a true universal spiritual communion and community would be very great indeed. I’d like to paraphrase a well-chosen phrase of Dr. Ravi Ravindra’s by saying; Without Spirit it can’t be done. Without us it won’t be done.
I have been exploring the issue of how I might become involved in promoting the ideals of Universal Fellowship though the vehicle of Intentional Community. My exploration showed me how difficult it can be to fully grasp these wide-ranging concepts of Universal Fellowship and Intentional Community. The more I thought about these grand ideals the broader and deeper became my scope of thinking. Here I’ll narrow it down to a few points I consider essential.
I’ve come to recognize that what I might call “Aquarian Cultural Creativity” is a broader topic to consider and fits the need of the day. I use the term “Aquarian” as a call for each of us as individuals to envision and embody our own highest ideals.

So I’d like to say right now, God willing, Let us establish a Sense of Unity in the Group.
When I hear these words I first look at this group of thoughts and faculties, which I call my self.
This is the first group where I need to establish a sense of unity.
For if I don’t find it here can I ever find it anywhere?

If one intends to contribute in a positive manner to a spiritual community it is essential to work deeply and honestly on one’s own sense of self. Perhaps the best avenue for this work is the path of the heart. I recently read an interesting article, which said that; Research conducted on behalf of the Heartmath Institute, by Dr. William Tiller and other scientist at Stanford indicated that the electrical field of the heart is 60 times greater than the electrical field of the brain. Not only that, the magnetic field of the heart is 5,000 times greater in strength than the magnetic field of the brain. This biomagnetic field envelopes every cell of the body and extends in all directions. Research indicates it is an important carrier of information.

Even more important than information the heart is the temple of our deepest believes. Our vision of reality is secreted in the temple of our heart; which is the spiritual vessel of our soul; our very being. Nothing we say or do can conquer the idol we place on the alter of our heart. The key to our spiritual liberation can be discovered only when we honestly acknowledge the idol of our beliefs and rightfully recognize the eternal, clear, bright formless vessel of Universal Oneness, which the masters of wisdom know and serve.

Awaken Thee!

Can we ever doubt the mysterious universal laws underlying all we see and know? Just look at the cycles of life displayed before us in all things from a blade of grass to the sun and galaxies. An alchemical mystery is hinted at when various factors of thoughts and experiences come together to make something familiar, seem new again. A kind of sympathy, a simpatico, is suggested when one thought draws to itself another.

This sense of mystery may be brought to our attention in various ways. It may be stirred up by personal dissatisfaction or doubt; it may arise as Universal love, or a passion for life. When doubts come to the fore I then turn to “The Song of God” the yogi’s bible. The Great Universalist and Yoga Master Paramahansa Yogananda gave the world his commentary on this “Bagavad Gita”, which he declared, is a new scripture, born from an ageless scripture. Here the universal path of return is clearly revealed. The path of the soul is a path of universal love, in service to the beloved. All who are true to their ideals serve that which is beloved to them. Therefore the well-founded advice is often heard “Follow your Dreams”.

As suggested one thing leads to another. I read a thought by a theosophist, Katherine Tingley, she said something like this in her book The Path of the Mystics; “The trouble with most people is that they don’t honor their dreams, which can elevate us all.” Dreams married to creative power can change the world.

A true seeker’s heart embraces dreams of love and goodwill. Why would we manifest dreams of conflict or destruction? May we see what is good, honor the high ideals enthroned in our heart and make them real in our life. Create what is good and you support that dream in others. That is the true path of devotion, to serve the power of good in all that you see.

or to elevate our awareness toward the awesome commanding heights of life’s spiritual summit.
The New Aeon is the ageless spirit of divine love and peace, which we may someday, perhaps today come to embody.

Rosemont Journeys

A Rosemont Journey is an inner adventure, exploring Universal paths of Ageless Wisdom, which lead to awakening, and to the illumination of a temple, or sanctuary within the heart of your conscious being. In that temple, awakening to dawning light, you establish an alter of love and truth, thus enabling you to worship eternal oneness through each of your thoughts, feelings and actions.

Some call this Illuminist Path of Awakening, the Tradition of Sacred Science. It is Universal Ageless Wisdom, Ever New. A great Universalist of modern time Yogananda titled his first book the Science of Religion, in which is described a Universalist path. His guru, Sri Yukteshwar titled his great work the Holy Science. Sri Aurobindo titled one of his works The Life Divine, Teilhard de Chardin wrote of The Divine Milieu, Krishnamurti titled one of his great works The Awakening of Intelligence.

Names and paths are many but ultimately all Universal paths are striving to restore our awareness of the nature of Truth, which is our essential divine nature, universal conscious bliss, which resides centered everywhere, yet is unbound.

A path which is creative and applicable in all cultural settings, one which is not restricted by the divisions of dogma, has the markings of a Universalist path; a path which may lead to world peace. This has always been the great need of mankind. Only this question remains; how and when may we achieve it? This is a question A Rosemont Journey must explore. And the answer will be manifest, when we illuminate A Universal, Rosemont Sanctuary for a New Aeon in our Awakened Heart.

Exploring Universal Paths

Illuminating Ageless Wisdom

We can observe how many spiritual teachings have been promulgated throughout the ages and how many books have been written on these many teachings, all of them testaments of faith and understanding. Yet all these faiths and writings act as distractions from the path of truth, if one is not clearly focused on way and means of spiritual awakening.
Spiritual awakening occurs as a process of purification by which ones true nature becomes unveiled by dissolving our illusions of separateness. The sun of our divine nature rising in our vast sky of consciousness acts as a fire of awakening which dissolves the clouds of our delusive separateness. Thus we awaken to our eternal divine presence.
Can more religion and scholarly study advance the cause of spiritual awakening? It’s clear we don’t need another religion. Every new religion is just more of the same we have enough. The religions we have could be revitalized, but reforming individuals reaches more to the root of the matter. Reading books on spiritual topics may enlighten us about these topics, but will not awaken us to the divine presence within us here and now.
The Rosemont Journey suggests a way to encourage spiritual awakening and a means of encouraging universal fellowship. A seeker of universal ageless wisdom may embrace a particular faith while respecting all wisdom blossoms. A Rosemont seeker is one who as a Universalist embracing the divine essence behind all faiths.
A Universalist may be a Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, Jew or none of these. A Universalist may in practice embrace a particular faith, or by honoring the one in all may explore a deeply personal Rosemont path. A Universalist in each moment honors the oneness of all creation. A heart such as this will recognize that a robe of glory enwraps and sanctifies all sincere hearts; thus a universalist honors all paths leading toward the one good.
There are many ecumenical movements, whose endeavors are to be admired. And all loving heart may Journey on a Rosemont way, but embracing various religions is not the essential intent of A Rosemont Journey. A Rosemont Journey is fully and lovingly embraced by openhearted souls seeking to serve the one in all; by celebrating an end of judgment and displaying a personal culture of Universal Fellowship.
A Rosemont Journey is an expression of Universal love more akin to the way of awakened sages and mystics. The Universal Path is found in the essential teachings of all Mystics, Gnostics & Yogis. A Rosemont explorer finds one sweetness in all paths whether Christian mystic, Ishmaelian Sufi, Kashmiri Shaivite, Raja Yogi, Dhyana Buddhist or some other way. A Rosemont explorer surely respects the kernel, but worships only it's everlasting sweetness.

Only together can we fully manifest the ideal of our spiritual fulfillment. In order to manifest the spiritual intent of a Rosemont Heart Sanctuary for a New Aeon you personally are invited to organize individual or group activities in pursuit of the objectives stated herein.
Our Highest Ideals, to serve our divine nature, is our Dharma, which is our life essence and our purpose, our highest duty. It is the way we are fulfilled and the Path to our liberation from all suffering and confusion. Following our Dharma deepens our awareness of truth, the essence of Love and Wisdom.
Our spiritual awakening depends upon our ability to recognize a divine presence everywhere; in every moment and place and to serve that divine presence in all that we do. Thus I am compelled, for my own benefit to practice this awareness, this remembrance, as best I can every moment. And I know that by thinking about my ideals, seeing them expressed by others and sharing that awareness with those whom I meet will lead me to my Dharma, my fulfillment my happiness. And I know too that if you seek your dharma and share your awakening with me, we both will be closer to our highest goals and Ideals. Thus I feel it is my duty to create opportunities for us to recognize the way and the nature of our Awakening. In service to these Ideals I invite you to explore this Rosemont Way and to embody A Rosemont Fellowship.

A Rosemont Journey

Since my college days I have had just one thing in my heart and on my mind. Early in my "career" I studied economics and also yoga. Inspired by these schools of thought and two of my great teachers I reasoned in this way; my consciousness and energies are my most valuable assets, how can I apply them for the greatest good? I figured first I must discover the greatest good; for that must be the very essence of life. And to know this, one must be awakened spiritually, because spirit is the essence of life. To awaken spiritually one must perceive a divine essence, the one, the good, residing everywhere.

Thus I recognized that our life's purpose must be to awaken to our relationship with what is divine & good in our self and in everything. And to recognize that essence is our Self.
I felt that the only truly spiritual life is a holistic life embodied by a life that is in harmony within all relationships, with people and things. I recognized too this is not the life we lead in a world of conflict and separateness. I concluded a life of peace and happiness depends upon our holistic harmonious relationship with the divine essence of life; which depends in turn on how we recognize this one in our self and in all our relationships with people and the world we live in.

These two avenues "inner and outer" are like the heart beat, the very breath of the One Wholeness, which we all seek and find no peace without. We as individuals can awaken to this "Oneness", but wholeness can only be expressed in relationship. Our personal wholeness is expressed first by the soul's relationship with its consciousness, energy and body. Ultimately wholeness must be expressed in relationship to all life, even to every spec of space. Can this even be, if we do not have harmony in our relationships, our families, our community and our world? This wholeness is the happiness we must seek and we must seek it together as "One". Therefore I propose you and I recognize and embody the reality that we are seeking the fulfillment of our Universal Fellowship.
"Awakening to the One" within us and "Honoring the One" all around us.

This "Way" I call "A Rosemont Journey" because it is an ascent we share, and is recognized by sweet blossoms of love and peace, placed along our way by "the One" we seek within our Self and each other.
